I have a ls turbo in my crx right now should i pull it and turbo a b16 or keep the ls and go all turbo with out the gay v-tec.I know if i go the v-tec rout ill get to 300hp fast with a good tuner but so.can some help me deicide please.

well b16 already has high compression and the B18 has low witch is safer for your boost.But you should work on your internals before u add to much boost you can kill your engine

ok i have an 96 integra me and my buddie strip a bolt from the head and the block got mess up i want to replace the block but the only block that i have found its that b16 and the truth i do mechanic but don t know mechanic if u know please help me.

You’ll loose a lot of Torque! B16 = WEAK Torque!

Find a B16 Head and LS VEC your b18 block

You can swap the blocks, but there will be some modifications needed to make the different head work (capping oil passages, and such).Best to have it done by a knowledgeable technician, as it can cause serious engine damage if not done properly.

you should go 2 a salvage yard and get all the parts there like pedals and stuff but the tranny i don’t no what to tell you. half these b series trannys on craigslist are stolen and you can get into alot of trouble for having it in ur car.But good luck

9006/HB4 for low. i dont recommend changing to high beams to HID. HID’s need a min of 5min run time. also its illegal since integra didnt have HID as a factory option. you need to retrofit projectors made for HID

I have a 2006 rsx in nighthawk black, but is it supposed to look dark blue at night?

Yes , i have the same color, its normal. The paint has tiny flakes in it that makes it look like that.

I don’t think that is intentional but more that how the light is striking your car, if you park under a street light for example, the car will appear a different color than it actually is, my friend drives a an Acura thats black and looks dark green at night. it’s all about lighting.

Today, my mom stopped while driving my car up our extremely steep driveway. She decided to try to keep going up instead of rolling back down and trying again, and I smelled the clutch burning. How bad is that for the clutch? Should I get it checked?

If that’s the first time it has been abused like that, and for that short of a time, the clutch is probably still good.Drive the car and see if the engine rpms surge when the clutch engages but the car doesn’t accelerate any more (signifying clutch slipping).If the rpms surge but the car doesn’t go any faster, you may have to replace the clutch.

It’s fine, don’t worry about it.

yup time for a new clutch, but my guess is that it’s been getting bad for awhile, watch yourself make sure your foot does not rest on the clutch pedal while driving this can cause wear most don’t realize it

First thing I would check is the slave cylinder

Drag radials and nitrous would be the easiest way to get there. A good intake, race header and exhaust along with cams, Hondata and a good tune paired with drag radials and good driving should get you into that time range.

The 2009-2010 Acura TL SH-AWD is one of those, "Don’t judge a book by it’s cover." ordeals. The car looks ugly, but it can grow on you and the features of the car actually are better than most of the competition, especially the way the car drives. Agree?

I haven’t driven one, but based on previous Honda’s I have driven I bet this car is great.I agree that maybe you shouldn’t judge it completely by its cover, but the way a car looks is important, even to people like me who enjoy the driving experience more than the visual experience.I love old Hondas that are clean and understated.I really don’t like all the fake chrome and other crap they throw on now.I think they could have done a much better job with the design, but maybe it will grow on me.

I agree:The car is an excellent value when compared to other cars in its class.But man, I thought that front end looked hideous the first few times I saw it.But it has been growing on me with time.

I have a 2006 tsx and was wondering is this normal…When I drive 60mph the rpm read 2000rpm. Or when i drive 70 the rpm read 2500ish. Is this normal for my car? Thanks!

Yes totally normal. No worries. That’s actually a good, long ratio gear to have when cruising. You will get great fuel mileage.
